Ninja hybrid-system comparison

Ninja TotalCrush IQ801BK vs CrushBOSS: compare the processor tools

“Blender plus food processor” describes more than one Ninja package. The TotalCrush IQ801BK and CrushBOSS LB401WH/LB451BK1 each combine blending vessels with an eight-cup processor bowl, but the supplied food-prep tools and control labels differ. Compare the exact model suffix and in-box list before deciding; a large blender pitcher does not turn an eight-cup processor bowl into a larger work bowl.

Three hybrid packages, different prep priorities

Pick the tool you need, then compare the bowl

IQ801BK is the clearest fit if you want the named Chop and Dough presets and will also use its blender pitcher and travel tumbler. Ninja advertises mixing up to two pounds of dough, but that is a dough-mass claim, not a flour-cup maximum. The exact support link for the instruction booklet returned 403, so its safe run interval, batch chart, blade handling, and top-rack guidance remain unknown here. The product page’s broad dishwasher-safe statement does not answer every care question.

LB401WH changes the prep emphasis: its exact package lists a MultiBlade for slicing, shredding, and crinkle cuts, but omits a dicer. If grid dicing is essential, LB451BK1 includes the AutoPrecision kit; the separate LB401WHB1 bundle is another exact package route with a dicing kit, while the plain LB401WH should not be mistaken for that bundle. Neither CrushBOSS page publishes a metric grid size, so an exact 8, 12, or 16 mm need remains unconfirmed.

All three are rated for an eight-cup processor bowl. Use that number only for the bowl minimum, not as a general task capacity. The TotalCrush pitcher has a separately stated maximum liquid fill; other vessels have their own use, and their ounce labels should never be added to the processor bowl. A buyer who needs a nine-cup-or-larger work bowl, an exact dough-flour ceiling, a particular disc dimension, or verified top-rack care should set that as a hard requirement and keep these models out unless the exact manual or listing establishes it.

The page specifications are manufacturer claims, not side-by-side tests. Peak-watt ratings, Auto-iQ, SmartMenu, and preset counts do not establish comparative texture, speed, noise, or durability. Start with the recurring job and the tool that must be in the box, then read the individual assessments for the exact package limits: TotalCrush IQ801BK, CrushBOSS LB401WH, and CrushBOSS LB451BK1.
